Another test – using LiveWriter

I’ve hopefully done Martin & Sue a favour by making holes in the side of their bath panel – but also repairing their tap problems.

They returned the favour by plying me with good coffee, a fudge brownie…..and showing me how to use LiveWriter.

I hope this works!

  3. You did indeed, but I'm old. Very old. Such new-fangled ideas don't make sense to me.
I need big pictures. You know, like the Rupert books. Lots of pictures and no hard words.
Who did you say I was??

  4. Yes JJ, you did us a Big Favour. Thanks - all the bits are now back in place, and when I get round to it a bit of filler, glue and varnish should see it looking like new. Thanks again.

You seem to have got the WLW idea OK. Now try some piccies, experimenting with the sizing. I find that the 'sharpen' tool makes the reduced size images a bit crisper, but I'm not sure that I process my images in the best way.

Have fun with the writing - treat it as an indulgence rather than a chore and you should really enjoy it.

    Hello Louise...

  5. Oops, I seem to have joined as a member and a follower - a bit excessive perhaps - maybe delete the member bit, but I'm not sure whether I can do it from this end...

  8. If you keep going at this rate you'll have 100's of followers in no time. They'll be pleased it doesn't take long to read, but disappointed that they have to resort to AS and AW's works (of fiction?? - but I still enjoy the read) in order to find out what really happened on the TGOC.

On more important matters, we have to say that it's really nice to be able to have a shower again in Timperley without the water draining to the kitchen ceiling!
